Imagine...

Imagine...

Imagine for a moment that every day in our country, the students at four elementary schools all died from a preventable disease. Can you even comprehend the tragedy and the heartache? Where did it happen this time? Will my children be next? It's unimaginable, really. We don't even let our minds go there. Yet, day after day in countries all over our planet, this unbearable tragedy happens over and over again.

Now imagine you're a parent in one of those countries. Imagine after heartache upon heartache -- when you can't even bear to name your children any more until they survive to at least two years of age -- someone comes along who is able to stop your children from getting so sick, and can stop them from dying.

Who is this person? And who is this God who sent this person? You probably thought no one cared, and now you learn through tears about the love this God has for you. Such love, that He sent someone to save your children from senseless illness and death. Such love, that he sent His Only Son to die for you.

As you take a drink of clean water for the first time that will sustain your body here on earth, you also learn to embrace the One
who sent His Living Water to sustain your soul through all eternity.

That is what Pure Water, Pure Love is all about. It started as a way to provide clean water for our missionaries serving in underdeveloped countries, and is continually expanding as a way to give a cup of water to another in Jesus' name.
